This unique table runner is a work by the Japanese textile artist Makiko Tokunaga, hand-dyed using the ancestral technique of Shibori with some’fermented natural indigo (Sukumo).

Made in Handwoven cotton from Japan, It combines the finesse of traditional Japanese textiles with the subtlety of Shibori patterns, obtained by sewing and successive immersion in a vat of 100% natural indigo %.

With its dimensions of 72 × 34.5 cm, This table runner will bring a touch of authentic elegance to your interior, as a table decoration, buffet centrepiece or an exceptional textile piece. It is a piece unique, marked by the artisan's gestures and the depth of vegetable indigo. It embodies both a rare Japanese savoir-faire, respectful of nature, and a contemporary aesthetic of great poetry.
