Dive into the world of Shibori, an ancient Japanese textile art which I practise with passion. I create unique pieces dyed with natural indigo, combining tradition and contemporary creativity. Discover a rare skill, combining textile art, craftsmanship and natural dyeing.
A living art, between Japan and France
Each piece I create is hand-dyed using traditional Shibori techniques, either sewn or tied, on natural fabrics (cotton, silk, linen). The indigo vats are prepared with respect for ancestral know-how, slowly and with great care.
Shibori is an art form that requires patience and attention to detail. With every fold and every stitch, it reveals unpredictable and poetic nuances. Each creation is unique, like a trace of life itself.
