This square-format greeting card (13x13 cm) is much more than just a writing surface. Each piece is decorated with a Genuine hand-dyed textile ribbon with natural indigo using the ancient Japanese art of Shibori. Each pattern is obtained by folding, binding, sewing or compressing the fabric before immersion in the indigo vat. The result is a unique textile ribbon in vibrant shades of blue, glued to thick kraft paper.
Shibori technique used: Nui-shime Shibori
