Made from silver-coloured stainless steel, this jewellery piece features two fragments of fabric hand-dyed using the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori, with natural indigo. The fabric, inserted into round trays measuring 1.3 cm in diameter, reveals subtle patterns formed by folding, tying or sewing, before being immersed in the indigo.
This slender bracelet fits all wrists.
Each piece is unique: the motifs vary according to the inspiration of the moment and the dyeing process. To wear this bracelet is to take with you a little piece of Shibori, a fragment of blue sky, a link between Japanese tradition and contemporary creation.
Created with love in my workshop in Bègles, France.
