Gallery of Shibori textile artworks
This gallery presents a selection of my textile artworks created using Shibori and natural dyeing techniques.
Each piece is unique, handmade using traditional Japanese techniques combining sewing, binding, natural dyeing, Tataki-zome (pounded leaves and flowers) and indigo dyeing. Between craftsmanship and contemporary creation, my work explores the poetry of authentic, human gestures and the depth of colour.
2022 - My Mandala Year
A 17.5-metre-long textile frieze, composed of 54 pieces, created using Shibori and natural dyeing techniques throughout 2022.
